Here are all the dates for your diary for the next quarter; from volunteering dates, to activities from organisations around the reservoir!
Walk The Resa
Due to great success this group will now continue to run through the autumn and winter on the first Sunday of the month. 10-11 for the walk, and around 11ish for tea/coffee and cake (weather depending). Meet for either or both at Scotland Lane Picnic Area.
Litter Picks
We have almost competed our 12 months of monthly 1hr litter picks to clear historical rubbish from the woods. Out final monthly litter pick will take part on December 10th and will be slightly extended from 9.30-11.30. We will then have succeeded in our mission to clear the woods, and litter picks will be quarterly after that going forward to keep on top of things.
Conservation Group
Our conservation group is back for autumn and winter. Our first two sessions focused on clearing space for our Community Orchard Project. The next, on December 17th, 10-1, will return to Bromwich Wood to continue to remove holly to open up pathways, remove places of privacy, and make people feel safer and more confident walking there.
St Leonard's Christmas Fayre
St Leonard's have their annual Christmas Fayre on 26/11/2022, 11-3. With stalls, refreshments, and special guest appearance by Father Christmas! Go along and support this historic part of the reservoir, where funds raised go towards fixing the church roof,
Bartley Sailing Club's Winter Competition Series
Bartley Sailing Club hold 'The Bartley Beast'; a winter sailing competition series held once a month for 4 months from November 12th. The rest of the events are on:

Newman University Open Day
Newman's Student Open Day is on 26/11/2022, 10-3. You can explore the grounds, get an idea of what student life will be look like, speak with course leaders, and attend presentations. Newman is a fantastic organisation that we are lucky to have here in Bartley Green and as part of the Reservoir Community. Click here for more.
