An update on our fundraising efforts!

Easyfundraising.org.uk.

Our easyfundraising has raised almost £250!!! This simply from 14 members purchasing items online, like they ordinarily would, but doing so through the easyfundraising app; with one member adding £50 through purchasing their Sky TV package! Imagine what we could raise with every one of the current 30 members using the app! Please, please, download the easyfundraising app, and add Friends of Bartley Reservoir as your cause!

Raffle:

The online raffle raised nearly £200! There were fantastic prizes including theatre trips, meals out, and speedboat experiences that were won, and we have really enjoyed hearing back from people how they have enjoyed and used their prizes.

Craft Fayre:

The Craft Fayres, which have all been local, have so far raised nearly £80! We will look into continuing these from spring 2024, as well as possibly putting on our own Craft Fayre to increase revenue from other crafters/traders securing tables. Watch this space.

We are always thinking of new ways to raise money, and for those whose memberships will be renewed soon, as you have volunteered on three separate events over the last year, we will be sending you a FOBR money box to throw in any loose change you have. You can do it at home, or put it in the work place. Once it's full, contact us to collect it.

So over £550 has now been raised through these simple ways! It was agreed at the last committee meeting that all funds raised will be split 50/50 - with 50% going towards growing a maintenance fund, and the other 50% going into the general fund to cover small costs like graffiti removal equipment, and gravel to improve muddy sections at entrances around the reservoir.
