By Train:

There is no Bartley Green train station. The nearest train station is Northfield Station that is  2 miles away (as the crow flies). You will need to walk to the bus stop outside Sainsbury’s on the opposite side of the road behind the Black Horse Pub, which is 0.6 miles away. Jump on the 18 Bus to Bartley Green; see bus information below.

By Car:

15 minutes from the M5.

5 minutes from Bristol Road South, Northfield via Bell Hill, Long Mynd Road, and Merritts Hill.

5 minutes from Bristol Road South, Rubery via Great Park, Froghill Road, Egghill Lane, Church Hill.

Parking:

There is parking available alongside the road on the picnic area side, and then both sides of the road for the rest of Scotland Lane all the way down to its junction with Frankley Lane. You can also find some roadside parking on the other side of the reservoir where Merritts Hill joins with Frankley Lane, where there is permissive pathway access.

You can also park at the Sailing Club if visiting the Sailing Club, Midlands Watersports Centre, Bartley Stand Up Paddle Boarding Club, or Tilley’s Cafe. There are 2-3 parking spaces at St Leonard's Church, but it is best to park near the Scotland Lane/Frankley Lane junction, and take the off-road route to the back of the church as signposted.
