Fundraising update...

Last Resa-Roundup we announced our simple fundraising strategy; easyfundraising.org.uk; craft stall; and raffle. Here we update you on how that's progressing.

Easyfundraising.org.uk.
So far we have 17 supporters with 10 supporters having raised free money through their usual online spending. This has so far raised £82.10! Absolutely incredible! Free money when you go to the regular websites you shop at via the easyfundraising app, or you can download the reminder to your laptop/desktop which shows you all the sites that sign up to easyfundraising as you shop. Please, if you haven't already, download the app and raise free money for us through the app, particularly if you have yet to book your summer holidays, and purchase your summer outfits!

Craft Fayre:
We has our first stall at a craft fayre and raised £18! Portland and Eleanor reported that the poor weather had put people off and the event was moved inside at the last minute. They learnt a lot from their first craft stall experience and are making changes to their set up, and hope for better weather next time. Their next stall will be in Northfield Shopping Centre at the NAF shop on 22/07/2023 and 16/09/2023.

Raffle:
We have written to organisations in the local area, and connected to the local area for raffle prize donations. If we are successful in securing some prizes we will do an online raffle to be drawn mid/late August.

More:
We are always thinking of new ways to raise money, and for those whose memberships will be renewed soon, as you have volunteered on three separate events over the last year, we will be sending you a FOBR money box to throw in any loose change you have. You can do it at home, or put it in the work place. Once it's full, contact us to collect it. Our committee member Eleanor was able to cash in a load of change she had been carrying from one new house to another over the years and donated a total of £57.86! Thank you Eleanor!

So a total of £157.96 raised so far through these simple ways! Please support by doing what you can.
