Sign up to easyfundraising.org.uk

Make this the one thing you do to support us this year, even if you can't do anything more...

What do I need to do?

Go to easyfundraising.org.uk and sign up, selecting Friends of Bartley Reservoir as your preferred community group to receive money from your online purchases, then download the app. You just need to go to the app first and type in the brand/website you want to visit, to see if they have an agreement with them, then click through to the website and shop as you usually would. You can also login to easyfundraising.org.uk on your laptop or desktop where you are prompted to download a notification that tells you when you are visiting a site that has an agreement with easyfundraising. REMEMBER, you don't donate anything or pay anything extra on your shopping.

How is that possible?

Easyfundraising have an agreement with thousands of shops and brands ,that if people come to their website through the easyfundraising app, then easyfundraising gets a small percentage if you make a purchase -  but you will need to go through the app first. Easyfundraising then pass some of that money onto us!  You don't get charged extra for a product; you don't get prompted to add a donation when checking out for payment; you pay exactly what you would as if you had gone direct to the website yourself, but instead of us getting nothing, we get something. In just 2 weeks and with 8 people, we have raised £30 already, with members just purchasing online as they usually would. There is great potential to raise a decent amount of money over the course of each year.

Ok, I'm in, what shops/brands are there?

Everything you can imagine! There are the usual big names such as Amazon, E-bay and Argos where most people will purchase from. However there is the potential for daily, weekly, and monthly purchases that can contribute to our fundraising. Do you have your weekly food shop home delivered? There is Morrisons, Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, and Ocado. Like clothes? Check out H+M, BooHoo, Very, Adidas, Nike, and TK Maxx. Do you need car/pet/health/house insurance? Then you can search comparison sites like MoneySupermarket, Go Compare, and Compare the Market, or go direct to a number of insurance companies via the app. Looking for a holiday? Search SkyScanner for flights, or Booking.com, Hotels.com, Tui, Jury's Inn, or Travelodge for accommodation and holiday packages. Looking for somewhere to park your car, then they also have agreement with JustPark - every little helps!

You get the idea! Get signed up and then go to the app to search for what you want, then click on the shop/brand and it will take you through to the website and you continue to shop as you ordinarily would. Many thanks for you support with this!
