Seasonal Locations

Most people know about 'Bluebell Wood' but have you ever been there or would you know when to visit when the bluebells are in bloom? The answer is Spring time, around mid April -May to catch them at their best. 

 

How about Bartley Meadows? Three fields between the Sailing Club and the Picnic Area on Scotland Lane that are just grass fields most of the year but from mid May the meadows begin to grow until they are in their full glory June, July and August - not to be missed!

And finally there are the wheat fields in summer time with Public  Footpaths running through or alongside them. Be sure to use the tractor lines where you can as not to damage the crops, but there is a public right of way through them if you need to use it.
